The 4th Conference of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) will be held from 15th to 21st January 2007 in Niamey (Niger) on the theme : Evaluating Development, Developing Evaluation : A Promising Network for Africa's Future.

AfrEA is an inter-African organisation working to promote monitoring and evaluation and to improve the quality of evaluations and the application of their results. In line with earlier AfrEA conferences in Kenya (1999 and 2002) and South Africa (2004), the 4th edition of the conference will bring together the open community of experts and leaders on which the development and the practice of evaluation in Africa depends.
