Global Objective:
To support a sustainable national process of capacity-building in monitoring and evaluation through the setting-up of a forum that will contribute to the definition of norms, methodologies and professional practices in Niger.
Specific Objective:
To develop an evaluation culture and national M&E skills.
A series of specific activities will implement this objective:
1) the facilitation of informal learning through the sharing of experiences and skills in the field of monitoring and evaluation in Niger
2) the organisation of formal training sessions
3) the facilitation of information sharing (meetings, training sessions, scholarships, grants, books and manuals, newsletters, electronic networks, etc.)
4) the facilitation of contacts of users and providers of monitoring and evaluation services to promote mutual understanding of evaluation needs
5) the creation and maintainance of a database of evaluators containing information concerning their areas of expertise, their experience and recent publications
6) the facilitation of the definition
of professional norms and practices
